The Gattinoni news The syncretism between two different cultures, a meeting of the ways between the East and the West: these are the main features of ‘Planetarium’, the new Gattinoni prêt-à-porter spring/summer 2010 collection. The new ‘Planetarium’ bed-linen range offers unusual graphics borrowed from oriental iconography, pairing it with the finest quality printing to further enhance the designs; the entire product is made from prized cotton sateen with piping detail. The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has acknowledged the Maison Gattinoni archives as being of particular historical interest. Through the Lazio Archival Superintendency, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage has declared that: “Maison Gattinoni, founded in Rome in 1946 by Fernanda Gattinoni, conserves the document-based heritage recording activity in ladies’ haut couture”. The ceremony where the certificate of recognition is to be awarded to Mr. Dominella will take place next 23rd October in the Caravaggio Hall at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. |
